Please be advised that Bridge 9, Sandfield Bridge, is closed temporarily for emergency repairs.

Engineers are attending this afternoon and we will update this notice when we have further information.

Update on 11/04/2025:

Further to the notice below, we are pleased to advise that the engineers have completed their checks and Sandfield Bridge will reopen on Saturday morning as usual.

The bridge will be operated manually in order to facilitate this.

Consequently, boaters may experience some minor delays at other bridges as a result.
